Security Council Committee - PERMANENT MISSION OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO TO THE UNITED NATIONS

There is no longer a requirement for Member States to notify to the Committee any shipment of arms and related materiel for the DRC, or any provision of assistance, advice or training related to military activities in the DRC. Set out in paragraph 2 of resolution 2667 (2022) in which the Security Council “[d]ecide[d] that the notification requirements set out in paragraph 5 of resolution 1807 (2008) shall no longer apply.”
